Whether you’ve been with your partner for five weeks or you’ve been married for a decade, date night is still a ritual you need to regularly observe with your significant other. While we know this isn’t some revolutionary news and that any relationship advice will include a date night to keep that spark alive, many people still ignore this advice! So pull up Google, search for, “Italian restaurants near me,” find Asiago’s Wine & Martini Bar, and make it a date!
Today we’ll discuss some of the benefits of keeping a date night marked on your calendar.
- An opportunity for romance! Remember, there’s a large difference between going out for the night and going out on a date. Date night is a night out with your number 1! It’s a state of mind. It’s a chance to look across the table and see the person you want to spend the rest of your life with.
- It’s a nice break from running errands and “doing.” Date night is an opportunity for you to connect with your partner, not about getting things done. We suggest that to get the most out of date night, turn your phones off and pay attention to each other!
- It’s a chance to have some fun! Date night gives you the opportunity to have some fun with your partner. Try something new! Try a new wine or martini at our bar.
- Date night is a show of commitment. It shows your willingness to make the other person in the relationship a priority by setting aside time for them.
